PRIMARY FUNCTION
Preparies sells and serves food and drinks to customers in a professional manner.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES i[sr1] nclude but are not limited to:
  • Morning and Day Shifts.
  • Must demonstrate excellent customer service; be positive, extremely polite, and informative to customers
  • Assist and ring up customers, answer phone calls, and take orders over the phone
  • Follow all recipes and prepare food in a timely and sanitary manner
  • Prep food according to proper procedures as required by the Health Department
  • Communicate with other staff to ensure all orders are made correctly and timely
  • Deliver orders to customers in a timely manner
  • Track food quality
  • Follow sanitation guidelines
  • Keep front lobby and outside area clean
  • Continuously and thoroughly clean the kitchen and lobby
  • Wash and put away dishes
  • Put away deliveries and keep store organized
  • Stock and rotate food as required by Health Department codes
  • Adhere to store safety procedures
  • Practice cost cutting measures
  • Pitch in and work as a team
  • Show up on time and take breaks for the appropriate length of time
  • Complete all opening and closing duties
  • Communicate with managers about the schedule, informing them at least 3 days prior to taking time away from work
  • Perform additional duties as requested by your manager

  • Have thorough knowledge of all of our food and recipes
  • Ability to learn the training material and be able to explain health benefits to customers
  • A demonstrated ability to effectively interact with customers, peers and supervisors.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and self-control.
  • Good comprehension and communication skills, with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through verbal communication.
  • Must demonstrate enthusiasm, trustworthiness, personal integrity and honesty.
  • Must be detailed oriented, able to plan, prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate safely in the workplace.
  • Ability to work autonomously and understand when a superior needs to be involved in decision making.
  • Good decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze information, and implement the best solution to solve problems or challenges.
  • Self-motivated, with a dedication to keeping up to date technically.
 
QUALIFICATIONS[sr2] 
  • Must follow health, sanitary, and safety requirements as defined by the state of Georgia and Health Department. Meet Food Certification requirements in the state of Georgia.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check and other pre-employment screening.
  • Must be able to handle a basic computer, POS system, cash, and credit cards.
  • Maintain a clean and work-appropriate personal appearance.
  • Come to work with a positive attitude and willing to work well with others.
  • Previous restaurant experience a plus.
 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS include but are not limited to:

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, and move quickly throughout the store
  • Able to lift & carry items up to 40 lbs.
  • Able to hear and speak to customers in person and/or by phone.
  • Able to see and read on computer screen and paper.
  • Able to use hands and fingers to operate POS system etc.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
 
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment is indoors with occasional outdoor exposure when working as a vendor at outdoor events.
